Claire works on projects which help policy makers and the wider education community find information about education policy and structure worldwide. She leads the International Review of Curriculum and Assessment Frameworks (INCA) project. INCA provides descriptions of government policy in 21 countries worldwide and focuses on curriculum, assessment frameworks for pre-school, primary, lower secondary and upper secondary education in schools (3-19 age range).
Claire is also a core member of the team providing the services of the Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Eurydice Network is the European Commission information network on education which provides comparative information on education systems and policies in Europe. Recent Eurydice work includes the national contribution to publications on mathematics and science and an update of the national education system description.
Claire holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. She speaks French and Spanish and is learning Italian.
