David undertakes project leadership roles for a wide variety of projects including the management of large scale data collection and analysis exercises, such as the national data collections of years 3 to 5 and years 7 to 9 optional test results on behalf of STA and DfE. He is responsible for managing the school administration aspects of NFER’s optional test Analysis and Marking Service for primary schools and has particular responsibility for liaison with local authority clients. David has a great deal of experience in recruiting and retaining schools for test trials and surveys having managed the survey administration of over fifty test development exercises and international studies over the last sixteen years. David is a member of NFER’s sampling team which has responsibility for the drawing of all of the samples of schools required for inclusion in NFER’s research surveys and test development exercises.
