Helen directs and manages the large scale services that deliver NFER for schools products to schools. These range from attitude surveys to assessment tools to marking and analysis services. She has project managed the analysis and marking service for the past six years as well as the launch and subsequent running of the attitude surveys from 2009 and has recently taken over the product management of the Formative Assessment Service. She also has a wealth of experience in the data management for international surveys and was the data manager for OECD PISA 2009 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and also for Scotland. She is also the data manager for the European Survey on Language Competencies in England and was the data manager for the field trials for the International Survey of Adult Skills and the OECD PISA 2012 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and also for Scotland.
Helen is a registered Prince2 Practitioner and has nearly 10 years of extensive project management experience specialising in creating and launching new products and services and ensuring their ongoing viability and relevance. This includes the specification of new IT systems and administrative processes and co-ordinating large and varied teams of specialists both internal and external to the NFER.
